Organisation Overview

The Malaysia Young Scientist Organisation (MYSO) is a non-governmental organization established on March 23, 2017, aimed at nurturing a culture of research and innovation among youth. Through collaboration with over 30 affiliated organisations, MYSO has successfully facilitated student participation in global innovation contests, fostering scientific creativity and contributing to the nation’s development.

Aims to be a platform for sustaining STEM TVET education and Industrial Revolution 4.0 (IR 4.0) in the country.

Mission

To be a catalyst in creating a research-based thinking environment among primary and secondary school students in Malaysia and to facilitate teachers in enhancing their capabilities as facilitators and mentors to students in the fields of research and scientific innovation.

Goals

Educate and train teachers as mentors in STEM education and research fields.

 

Educate and train primary and secondary school students in STEM education, innovation research, and invention.

 

Host innovation, invention, Olympiad, Robotics, and Social Science competitions at national and international levels.

 

Serve as a selection panel for ICYS, APCYS, and other international competitions alongside strategic partners from around the world.

 

Establish smart collaborations with local and international higher education institutions, local and international research centers, and collaborate with countries that have Young Scientists Centers or International Research Organizations.
